Can SLI in a Notebook Beat Desktop Graphics?

Tom's Hardware tests out a Battalion SC-650 SLI from iBuy Power. It features dual 7800GTX, but sadly (to me at least) a Turion 64 ML-44 (single-core) at 2.4ghz
